Donations
Goodwill has waiting lists of people wanting to enroll in our programs, so we are continually growing our programs as we receive additional funding. Goodwill’s community programs are funded by material and financial donations.
Material donations from community members and businesses support Goodwill’s community services. These donations of gently used goods are sold in our eight retail stores, which provide both job training sites for our participants as well as revenue to support our workforce development programs. Attended Donation Centers are located throughout the Ventura and Santa Barbara County area and are open seven days a week. At these sites, Goodwill staff can provide assistance with unloading donations and provide a tax receipt.
